IntelliFile™ Unveiled:
 Realities of a Paperless Office

Miami Lakes, Florida, April 12, 2004 For over two years, Intellisoft has been planning, designing, developing and testing one of the most unique and exciting  features ever integrated into a full blown accounting software and business automation package.  This feature, referred to as Intellifile™, brings a whole new definition to the term "Paperless Office."  Intellifile™ is the latest module that integrates document management capabilities directly into the popular ManageMore Business Software.

Businesses can now begin to organize their documents (i.e. Paper Bills, Word documents, spreadsheets, image files, audio files, streaming video files, etc.) into a fully functional virtual filing cabinet system directly within the ManageMore program.

According to Thomas Trumbly, V.P. of Operations at Intellisoft, "This has been one of the longest projects we have tackled since the first release of ManageMore.  Many issues had to be considered, including integration methods, security, storage space, ease-of-use, and usability.  We evaluated dozens of popular document management systems and took a "best-of-breed" approach in the design of our Intellifile module."

According to Mr. Trumbly, Intellisoft took a very serious approach to the realities of a paperless office and used their own business as a model and testing ground for the Intellifile product. Mr. Trumbly claims that Intellisoft had been secretly using Intellifile (code named "Paper Shred") in-house for over several months before any of their beta-testers got to evaluate it.  Management wanted to be certain that Intellifile would actually work as advertised and found no better way to do this than to "eat their own dog food" as Mr. Trumbly coined the phrase.

Monty Deane, General Manager of Intellisoft, Inc. stated "At first, I was skeptical myself at what was being asked by my peers almost a year ago.  Intellisoft management basically demanded us to get rid of all filing cabinets and take back the valuable office space now being consumed by filed paper documents. "  Mr. Deane further augmented "After a few weeks of catch-up game, we finally had years of collected bills and contracts completely stored on our computer network.  I can now honestly say that I can't imagine running a business any other way.  Without getting out of my desk, I can instantly retrieve any document, and email or print copies to anyone with a single keystroke.  Once you get over the unnecessary physical paper concept, you really begin to understand the term paperless office.  This is by far my favorite feature of ManageMore now.  I'm glad our customers will now be able to utilize this feature as well."

There have been many topics written on the benefits of document management systems.  Intellisoft expects their new Intellifile™ product to be the most affordable and unique document management system to hit the streets in recent years.
