Limited Asset Acquisition of Automation.Net
Miami, Florida, August 9, 2002 – Intellisoft, Inc. of Florida has finalized a deal to purchase Automation.Net's corporation assets in a move to further strengthen Intellisoft's position as the global provider of business software solutions to the wireless sector. Automation.Net was best known over the years for its software called "Pager Automation" and "Wireless Automation" and was considered the second largest software provider for cellular and paging based businesses. Subsequently, Automation.Net has ceased operations indefinitely.
"We believe that by acquiring Automation.Net's customer list, we will be able to offer those customers a much better business solution, as well as build more long-term relationships with them," said Thomas Trumbly, V.P. of Intellisoft. Mr. Trumbly further added, "Our goal is mutually beneficial to both Intellisoft and the former Automation.Net customers. By providing an aggressive competitive software upgrade and free data conversion to our ManageMore business software, we are hopeful that Automation.Net customers will see the value being presented and make the decision to switch over to our award-winning products before something uneventful occurs with their unsupported software." A key part of Intellisoft's arrangement requires Automation.Net to provide a limit period of assistance in converting customers to ManageMore. "The free data conversion is one of the best deals for Automation.net customers in my opinion... Customers don't want to re-type information into a new system again. Making this part painless will play a big part in convincing customers that the software switch is worthy," said Mr. Trumbly.
